How you become a medic
No prior experience needed. Every recruit goes through the EMS Academy — a structured training path run by our senior staff, from your first application to your first solo shift.

Application
Submit the medical application with your character background and availability. Reviewed within 48 hours.

Interview
A short voice interview in Discord with a Team Lead to talk through scenarios and expectations.

Classroom Phase
Radio procedure, triage, scene safety and the UHS code of conduct — taught live, not from a PDF.

Practical Assessment
Hands-on drills: patient assessment, CPR, trauma stabilisation and ambulance driving standards.

Mentored Ride-Alongs
Your first shifts run alongside a mentor who signs you off call by call.

Solo Certification
Cleared for solo response as an EMT, with clear promotion paths through Paramedic and beyond.
